Manchester United reportedly have no plans to sack interim boss Ralf Rangnick, despite his failure to turn to club's fortunes around.

Rangnick's future has recently been questioned after a number of first-team players expressed their discontent with the German's training methods, something which the 63-year-old has quickly rebuffed.

In addition, the former RB Leipzig boss does not have the support of senior figures such as Cristiano Ronaldo, and his relationship with the 37-year-old is believed to have broken down.

United were sitting 12 points behind the Premier League summit when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked in November, but that gap has since increased to 23 points under Rangnick, with the Red Devils winning only three of their last eight league games.

Despite their current predicament, the Daily Express reports that United will not sack Rangnick and they will stick with their initial plan to keep him as manager until the end of the season.

The report adds that United's hierarchy feel performances have improved under Rangnick even though results are yet to, and they are confident the German will resurrect their hopes of a top-four finish. body check tags ::
