Manchester United currently have no plans to relieve Ole Gunnar Solskjaer of his managerial duties, according to a report.

The Norwegian coach is yet to win a trophy since originally taking over as caretaker manager in December 2018 and has seen his side suffer three defeats in their last four games across all competitions.

Solskjaer's long-term future in the Old Trafford hotseat has been called into question on several occasions, although his deal with the Red Devils is not due to expire until 2024.

According to ESPN, United chiefs are convinced that Solskjaer will propel the club back to Premier League glory after the arrivals of Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The report claims that Solskjaer retains the 'unequivocal support' of the Glazer family and Ed Woodward, with his side fourth in the Premier League standings after six games.

The 48-year-old has won 75 of his 140 matches in charge of United since being appointed permanent manager and now prepares his side for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Villarreal. body check tags ::
