Tottenham Hotspur also guaranteed European football next season despite only drawing with Crystal Palace, leaving Wolves waiting to see whether seventh place will be good enough to join them in continental competition next term.
At the bottom, Bournemouth's 3-1 victory over Everton was not enough to keep them in the division, with Aston Villa picking up the point they needed to stay up at West Ham United.
Watford's defeat at Arsenal saw them relegated too, while there were final-day victories for the top two Liverpool and Manchester City.

It is fitting that the goalkeeper in the final team of the week of the season is the Golden Glove winner, with Ederson sealing the award courtesy of his 16th clean sheet of the campaign in Man City's big win over Norwich City.
The Brazilian is one of four Man City players to make the cut this week, with Kyle Walker also included at right wing-back having contributed an assist in addition to that clean sheet at the Etihad.
A relative dearth in outstanding midfield performances this week means that we have gone for three at the back, led by Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk, who became only the fifth player in Premier League history to play every single minute of a title-winning campaign and marked the occasion with a goal against Newcastle United.
