Saturday's Premier League predictions including Manchester United vs. Everton

:Headline: Saturday's Premier League predictions including Manchester United vs. Everton: ID:433955: from db_amp
Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Premier League fixtures, including Manchester United vs. Everton.

Aston Villa vs. Arsenal (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Aston Villa and Arsenal will both be aiming to bounce back from demoralising defeats in midweek when they kick off Premier League gameweek 23 at Villa Park on Saturday lunchtime.

The hosts were put to the sword by West Ham United on their own turf last time out, whereas Arsenal lost in the league for the first time in 2021 at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

We say: Aston Villa 1-2 Arsenal

Arsenal could and probably should have scored more against Wolves before Luiz's controversial sending-off changed the course of the game, and Arteta will be demanding an immediate response from his players here. Villa's expected rotation should aid their efforts this weekend, but the Gunners have undoubtedly improved notwithstanding their calamitous evening at Molineux, so we are backing the visitors to be the ones to return to winning ways.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Burnley vs. Brighton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Burnley will be hoping to avoid a third defeat on the trot in the Premier League when they welcome a resurgent Brighton & Hove Albion to Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts fell to a 2-0 defeat to title-chasing Manchester City in midweek, whereas Brighton managed to beat reigning champions Liverpool 1-0 on Merseyside.

We say: Burnley 0-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton are starting to gain a reputation as giant killers following two memorable wins over Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, and the last thing that Potter will want to see is a slip-up against a fellow relegation rival. With the prospect of Burnley being without their two first-choice strikers again, we can envisage the Seagulls coming up trumps courtesy of a 1-0 scoreline for the fourth time in five Premier League matches.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

Newcastle vs. Southampton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Southampton will look to put their 9-0 humiliation at the hands of Manchester United swiftly behind them when they make the long trip up to St James' Park to face Newcastle United on Saturday.

For the second time in as many seasons, the Saints found themselves on the wrong end of the Premier League's biggest-ever scoreline, but this weekend they take on a Newcastle side in even worse form.

We say: Newcastle United 1-1 Southampton

Recent results make this an incredibly difficult match to call between two woefully out-of-form sides. Hasenhuttl will be demanding a reaction to such an embarrassing defeat last time out, but that is easier said than done with a team so depleted by injuries and suspensions.

Newcastle, for their part, have looked more capable of getting results in recent weeks despite still being towards the bottom of the form table, but it remains very hard to back them. We are going for a draw at St James'.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a draw or an away win.

Fulham vs. West Ham (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Fulham will be looking to end the Premier League's longest current winless streak when they welcome London rivals West Ham United to Craven Cottage on Saturday afternoon.

Scott Parker's men have gone 11 top-flight games without a win, whereas their visitors have won seven of their eight games across all competitions since the turn of the year.

We say: Fulham 0-2 West Ham United

Fulham have proven themselves difficult to beat in recent weeks despite their own struggles to pick up a win, but the form book points firmly to a West Ham victory in this match.

The Hammers bounced back immediately from defeat to Liverpool by beating Aston Villa, boast a good record against Fulham and also know that victory would lift them into the top four again, at least for a day.

Fulham have only scored once in their last five home league games and so we can also see Moyes's men keeping a clean sheet en route to the three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Man Utd vs. Everton (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Manchester United welcome Everton to Old Trafford on Saturday evening looking to pick up where they left off in a record-equalling midweek humiliation of Southampton.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side put the Saints to the sword with a 9-0 victory, while Everton also returned to winning ways by overcoming Leeds United at Elland Road.

We say: Manchester United 2-1 Everton

This is a fascinating contest between two sides in similar form, made all the more intriguing by the fact that Everton have been in fine form away from home whereas Man United's main slip-ups this season have come at Old Trafford.

It is difficult to back against a team that won 9-0 in their last outing, though, so we expect Solskjaer's 100th Premier League match as a manager to end in another three points for his side.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Spurs vs. West Brom (Sunday, 12.00pm)

Jose Mourinho has demanded a response from his Tottenham Hotspur players when they host West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Spurs have lost three games in a row to completely end any hope of a title challenge, while West Brom are winless in four and are facing a swift return to the Championship.

We say: Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 West Bromwich Albion

The pressure is slowly starting to build on Mourinho on the back of three successive league losses, two of those on home soil.

West Brom have taken points away at Man City and Liverpool this season, but Allardyce's men had their confidence battered with defeat to Sheffield United in midweek and it is difficult to see them responding here.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Wolves vs. Leicester (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Leicester City make the short trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday afternoon looking to stay in contention for the Premier League title.

Meanwhile, the home side head into the contest at Molineux on the back of a much-needed 2-1 win against Arsenal, a result which has moved the club 12 points clear of the relegation zone.

We say: Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-3 Leicester City

Despite their victory over Arsenal in midweek, Wolves rode their luck before eventually claiming the three points. With that in mind, we feel that Leicester are still playing a level above their hosts, leading us to predict a convincing win for the visitors.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Liverpool vs. Man City (Sunday, 4.30pm)

The Premier League champions host the leaders in the pick of the fixtures in gameweek 23 as Liverpool welcome title rivals Manchester City to Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

Seven points separate the two sides in the table following a poor run of form for the Reds, coupled with a relentless winning streak from Pep Guardiola's men in recent weeks.

We say: Liverpool 2-2 Manchester City

The formbook points firmly at only one result in this match - a Manchester City victory to nil. Liverpool have struggled to score or win at home recently, whereas Man City's defensive record is just as impressive as their relentless winning streak.

However, look a little deeper and there is more cause for optimism for the hosts, who will be welcoming three crucial players back into their side and taking on a team who play in an entirely different way to the teams Liverpool have underperformed against in recent weeks. Add to that Man City's woeful record at Anfield and suddenly the tale of the tape begins to look much more even.

These are almost always entertaining, breathless affairs and we are hoping for an absorbing contest, which has not always been the case in big-six showdowns this season. At the end of it all, though, we are expecting the spoils to be shared in what would be a better result for Man City than Liverpool given the difference between the two sides in the table.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Sheff Utd vs. Chelsea (Sunday, 7.15pm)

Chelsea will be looking to maintain their impressive start to life under Thomas Tuchel when they take on Premier League basement boys Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

The Blues beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 on Thursday to keep their momentum going, while the Blades have also found some form over the past few weeks.

We say: Sheffield United 0-2 Chelsea

Chelsea are climbing the division under Tuchel thanks to seven points from nine since the German replaced Lampard in the Stamford Bridge dugout.

Sheffield United have been in good form themselves, picking up as many league wins in their last five matches as they did in the previous 27.

The Blades have also won three of their four home Premier League matches against Chelsea, including a 3-0 triumph last season, but we cannot see past a Blues victory on Sunday.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
