Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly demanded that Manchester United play at a quicker tempo in order to get the best out of him.

The Portugal international has scored five times in five appearances for the 20-time English champions since returning to Old Trafford from Juventus during the latter stages of the summer transfer window.

However, according to ESPN, Ronaldo believes that he could be even more productive at the club, and the veteran forward has urged head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to make the team play quicker in order to get the most out of his talent.

The report claims that the 36-year-old wants the Red Devils to 'move the ball quicker in attacking areas' and become 'sharper and quicker' in the opposition's half of the field.

Ronaldo scored twice on his second debut for the club against Newcastle United in the Premier League on September 11 before registering against West Ham United one week later.

The Portuguese has also netted in both of his Champions League appearances for Solskjaer's side this term, including the winner against Villarreal at Old Trafford on Wednesday night. body check tags ::
