France head coach Didier Deschamps has stated that he plans to give Manchester United's Anthony Martial his opinion amid speculation linking the winger to Juventus.

Martial, whose contract will expire at the end of next season, is reportedly growing frustrated at Old Trafford due to his failure to cement a first-team spot under Jose Mourinho.

The Red Devils boss is also believed to be unhappy with the 22-year-old's 'languid' style of play, and several media reports have suggested that he is willing to cut his losses.

"The players know it would be better if issues in the market were resolved as soon as possible, but I know that won't be the case," Deschamps - who spent five years at Juve - told Tuttosport.

"Martial has a contract with United and the club don't want to sell him. We'll see if he's looked at, by Juve or anyone else. I don't give advice, I give my opinion. In the end, it's up to the players to decide."

Martial has made 131 appearances for Man United, scoring 36 goals and registering 27 assists since his 2015 move from Monaco.
