Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford 'hand Manchester United huge injury boost'

Manchester United will reportedly be able to call upon both Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford when the Premier League resumes.

Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford are both "fully fit" ahead of Manchester United's proposed return to Premier League action later this month, according to Sky Sports News reporter James Cooper.

The Red Devils are due to resume their 2019-20 campaign against Tottenham Hotspur on the weekend of 19-21 June, more than two months after their last competitive fixture against LASK Linz in the Europa League.

United had been without Pogba due to an ankle injury and Rashford with a back problem in the early stages of 2020 but both players are believed to be ready for the restart.

"Rashford is back and he's not yet had the chance to play with [Odion] Ighalo, but it's the midfield options that have got everyone excited," said Cooper.

"Bruno Fernandes has established himself as an upcoming Old Trafford hero with just nine games in his number 18 shirt. Paul Pogba's fully fit too, and the pair could team up together for the first time when United return to action at Tottenham."

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are currently fifth in the Premier League table, three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea with nine games left.
