Report: Vissel Kobe want David Silva to link up with Andres Iniesta

Manchester City midfielder David Silva will reportedly be offered a lucrative contract to join Vissel Kobe at the end of the season.

Japanese side Vissel Kobe reportedly fancy their chances of adding Manchester City midfielder David Silva to their squad over the next few months.

Vissel already have Spanish midfield legend Andres Iniesta in their ranks and apparently want another star name to join him.

Silva has one year remaining on his Etihad Stadium contract, but he has offered no indication that he is looking to end his long-term spell in Manchester.

According to The Sun, however, ambitious J1 League side Vissel are preparing a lucrative offer that they hope will be enough to persuade the 33-year-old to join.

Should Silva reject the offer and stay on at City, he will complete a decade at the club next season.
