Samir Nasri 'heads to Turkey to finalise Antalyaspor switch'

A report claims that Samir Nasri is close to agreeing a two-year contract with Antalyaspor after uploading an image of himself jetting off to Turkey.

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has been pictured boarding a flight to Turkey, sparking speculation that he is close to completing a move to Antalyaspor.

The 30-year-old uploaded the image on his personal Instagram account on Sunday morning and is now expected to undergo a medical in the next 24 hours.

Nasri has been closing in on a move to the Super Lig club over the past few weeks, but his high wage demands are understood to have complicated matters.

BBC Sport reports that both City and Antalyaspor are confident of finalising a deal, however, with the Frenchman expected to sign a two-year contract.

A £25m signing from Arsenal in 2011, Nasri made 129 Premier League appearances for City and won two top-flight crowns.
