How Manchester City could line up against Tottenham Hotspur

Sports Mole looks at how Manchester City could line up in Tuesday night's Champions League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester City will travel to Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

City kept their quadruple hopes alive by recording a 1-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.

Pep Guardiola's side dropped points in two of their six matches in the group stage of this season's Champions League, but comfortably topped Group F on 13 points to breeze into the next round.

The Premier League champions are seen by many as the favourites to land the trophy this term, having sent out a serious message in the round of 16 - thumping Schalke 04 10-2 on aggregate.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how City could line up at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which will be hosting its first ever European fixture.

Out: Claudio Bravo (Achilles), Oleksandr Zinchenko (thigh)
Doubtful: Kyle Walker (hamstring), Fabian Delph (muscle), Sergio Aguero (knock)

City's main injury concern surrounds the fitness of leading scorer Sergio Aguero. The Argentine missed out against Brighton and has hardly trained over the last week, but has been tipped to shake off a knock to lead the away side's attack in the capital.

Fabian Delph is also back in training ahead of the clash, but Kyle Walker is expected to miss out with a hamstring strain while current first-choice left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko is also on the sidelines with a thigh issue.

Danilo could well come into the team at right-back, with Benjamin Mendy also given the nod in defence despite his recent injury problems.

Fernandinho was left out of the starting XI against Brighton, but is a certainty to start this one.

Further forward, meanwhile, Bernardo Silva is expected to get the nod alongside Raheem Sterling and Aguero in attack, leaving the likes of Leroy Sane and David Silva on an incredibly strong bench.
