Lyon attacker Memphis Depay has been spotted house hunting in Barcelona as he prepares to make a summer switch to Catalonia, according to a report.

The former Manchester United man will see his deal at the Groupama Stadium expire next month, and he is expected to reunite with Ronald Koeman at Camp Nou for the 2021-22 season.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is still hopeful that Depay will pen an extension at the club, but as things stand he is due to become a free agent when the campaign concludes.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Depay has already started to check out places to live in Catalonia, fuelling speculation that he will complete a move to Barcelona over the summer.

Liverpool have also been linked with a swoop for Depay, but the Netherlands international is thought to be desperate to reunite with former national team manager Koeman.

Depay has bagged 19 goals and 10 assists in 35 Ligue 1 appearances this season, scoring one and setting up another in their fiery 3-2 win over Monaco on Sunday night. body check tags ::
