Borussia Dortmund are reportedly hoping to strike a deal for Liverpool's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has only started two Premier League games this season.

Borussia Dortmund are allegedly weighing up a move for Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The former Arsenal man has been blighted by injuries since swapping London for Merseyside in 2017, but he has struggled to get a look-in when fully fit this season.

Oxlade-Chamberlain missed the first three months of the 2020-21 campaign with a knee issue, but he has started a mere two Premier League matches since recovering from that setback.

Now, Fichajes.net claim that the 27-year-old has decided to head elsewhere this summer, and Dortmund are hoping to help him reignite his career.

The report adds that Liverpool may be willing to sanction a sale for €20m (£17.3m) this summer, even though Oxlade-Chamberlain's deal at Anfield is not due to expire until the summer of 2023.

The England international has made just 14 appearances in all competitions this season, and he has registered a total of 13 goals and 11 assists in 101 games for Liverpool.
