Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Monday night's Premier League trip to face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

Liverpool will hand a late fitness test to Roberto Firmino ahead of Monday night's trip to face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.

The striker has missed the last two games with a "minor knock" to his knee, but manager Jurgen Klopp was unable to shed much further light on his situation in his pre-match press conference for Monday's game.

Klopp did suggest that he is hopeful of having the Brazilian available, although even if he is passed fit, he may face a battle getting back into the team with Diogo Jota now up and running again.

Jota started against RB Leipzig in midweek and could keep his place in the front three against his former club, alongside Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, the latter of whom is the Premier League's top scorer and both of whom were on the scoresheet on Wednesday night.

Indeed, with a relatively long break between European and domestic matches, Klopp could be tempted to name an entirely unchanged XI to the one which booked Liverpool's place in the Champions League quarter-finals in impressive fashion.

That would mean Nat Phillips and Ozan Kabak continuing their centre-back partnership, with Klopp strongly hinting that would be the case as he looks to build "consistency" at the heart of his injury-ravaged defence.

The Phillips-Kabak pairing allowed Fabinho to return to midfield in midweek and his performance was widely heralded back in his preferred role, so he is expected to continue there from hereon in, unless further injuries force him back into defence once again.

Thiago Alcantara is also likely to keep his place in midfield, and he will be desperate to improve a record which has seen him lose seven of his 14 league games in the Liverpool team - already more defeats than he suffered in 68 such outings with Barcelona.

Indeed, 27% of the league defeats Thiago has suffered in his entire 232-game top-flight career have already come at Liverpool, having lost 19 of 218 before his arrival and seven of 14 since.

The Reds are still without a host of key players through injury, meanwhile, with Jordan Henderson, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip all sidelined.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Kabak, Robertson; Thiago, Fabinho, Wijnaldum; Salah, Jota, Mane
