Sports Mole looks at how Liverpool could line up for Saturday's top-four showdown against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from suffering successive Premier League defeats for the first time under Jurgen Klopp when they visit high-flying Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.

The Reds followed up their 1-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion with a chastening 4-1 reverse at home to leaders Manchester City, leaving them 10 points off the pace following a run of only two wins in their last nine top-flight outings.

A top-four battle will now be the champions' priority ahead of Saturday's showdown with one of their rivals for that goal, and they head into the weekend sitting three points adrift of their third-placed hosts.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Klopp could set his side up as they look to avoid losing three consecutive league games for the first time since November 2014.

The headline from this weekend's team news could be a debut for one of Liverpool's deadline-day signings, with Klopp having had six days to prepare for this match.

Ozan Kabak appears more likely than Ben Davies to start at the heart of the defence and could therefore be handed his first Liverpool appearance, although captain Jordan Henderson's return to the midfield may be delayed by an injury to Fabinho.

The Brazilian has been ruled out of this match due to a "little muscle issue", meaning that Kabak is most likely to start alongside Henderson at the heart of the defence, unless Klopp decides to throw both new arrivals into the starting XI at once.

Some concerns were also raised over Thiago Alcantara after he appeared to miss training earlier this week, while Georginio Wijnaldum was pictured training away from the rest of the squad, but Klopp offered no indication that either were struggling with injury during his pre-match press conference.

Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez all remain long-term absentees for the champions, while this match will also come too soon for Naby Keita and Diogo Jota.

Alisson Becker will keep his place between the sticks despite his two costly errors against Manchester City last weekend, while the first-choice front three is also expected to start again.

Gone are the days where a Mohamed Salah goal meant a Liverpool win, though; the Reds have failed to win five of their last 10 league games in which Salah has scored, having won 35 such games in a row, and only lost one of 58, before that.
