Sports Mole looks at how Liverpool could line up in Sunday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
By , European Football Editor | 4d

Liverpool will be hoping for a favour from Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend as the Reds prepare for their final Premier League match of the 2018-19 campaign at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Jurgen Klopp's side have collected an incredible 94 points from their 37 league fixtures this term, but trail leaders Manchester City by a point heading into this weekend's fixtures.

City go to Brighton knowing that a win would be enough to land the title regardless of what Liverpool do at home to seventh-placed Wolves.

Any slip will allow the Reds to pounce, though, and they will enter the match off the back of a stunning 4-0 win over Barcelona on Tuesday night, which booked their spot in yet another Champions League final.

Here, Sports Mole has taken a look at how Liverpool could line up this weekend.

Out: Roberto Firmino (groin), Naby Keita (groin)
Doubtful: Mohamed Salah (concussion), Adam Lallana (muscle), Jordan Henderson (knee), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (hamstring), Andrew Robertson (calf)

Mohamed Salah missed Tuesday's clash with Barca due to a concussion, but the Egypt international is expected to return to the Liverpool XI on Sunday afternoon.

Jordan Henderson should also shake off a knee problem to start, while Andrew Robertson is expected to overcome the calf problem that forced him off against the Spanish champions.

Adam Lallana and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remain doubts, though, while Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita are definitely unavailable due to groin problems.

Georginio Wijnaldum's double against Barca should be enough to earn the Dutchman a start, with Divock Origi - who also scored a brace midweek - potentially named at the tip of the attack.

Elsewhere, there are not expected to be any surprises, with Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip continuing their partnership in central defence and Sadio Mane looking to add to his 24 goals for the campaign off the left.
