Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane believes that Reims striker and Senegal teammate Boulaye Dia will soon earn a move to a top European club.

Dia has enjoyed a prolific start to the 2020-21 campaign for Reims and boasts eight goals in nine top-flight appearances - only Kylian Mbappe has scored more.

The 24-year-old's performances have naturally attracted attention from across the globe, and Mane has since talked up Dia's quality and is backing the Senegal international to move up the ladder soon.

Speaking to French outlet Foot-sur7, Mane said: "I did not know him before, but since the start of the season I started to follow him, and I am really impressed by his qualities.

"I think he won't last long there, he won't last in Reims, believe me!"

Dia has amassed a total of 18 goals in 50 appearances for Reims, who are currently teetering dangerously close to the bottom three in the French top flight.
