Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe has hailed Liverpool as "a machine" as the Reds storm towards a first Premier League title success.

The Merseyside outfit's 30-year wait for top-flight glory appears certain to end in the next few months as they are 16 points clear at the summit with a game in hand to play.

Liverpool have been tipped to strengthen their attack line ahead of next season with the addition of Mbappe, who has revealed he will evaluate his future in the summer.

Mbappe has been amazed by what Jurgen Klopp's men have achieved in recent times, having also lifted the Champions League and Club World Cup over the past seven months.

"What Liverpool do in this moment is amazing," he told BBC Sport. "They're like a machine - they've found a rhythm and are like 'we play again, we play again'.

"They've lost zero games. When you watch you think everything's easy but that's not easy. The guys are focused, they play games every three days and they win, they win, they win.

"Now the problem is that everybody watches Liverpool, and everybody watches what we can do against them, so now they have to show they are strong again but it's a very good team with a very good manager."

Klopp recently played down the prospect of Liverpool signing Mbappe, leaving Real Madrid as the strong favourites to land him ahead of next season.
