Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Liverpool on Sunday, February 14.

The January transfer window has now closed, leaving Liverpool to begin looking forward to the summer for their next round of recruitment.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Anfield.

Sunday morning's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup:

Manchester United to rival Liverpool for Raphinha?

Manchester United could allegedly battle Liverpool for the signature of Leeds United attacker Raphinha during this summer's transfer window.

The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for the Whites during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring four times and contributing four assists in 17 Premier League appearances.

A recent report claimed that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had identified the Brazilian as his leading transfer target, having been impressed with his form since arriving in England last year.

However, according to the Manchester Evening News, United could be prepared to rival the Reds for Raphinha, who is thought to still have a close relationship with Bruno Fernandes, having played alongside the Portugal international at Sporting Lisbon.

Leeds would be in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations, though, as they have the right-sided attacker on a contract until June 2024.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has allegedly been promised transfer funds to improve his squad during this summer's transfer window.

Liverpool 'eyeing swap deal with Leeds United for Raphinha'

Liverpool could reportedly attempt to use Xherdan Shaqiri, Divock Origi, Harry Wilson, Sheyi Ojo or Marko Grujic in a possible swap deal with Leeds United for Raphinha.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is said to have identified Raphinha as his leading target ahead of this summer's transfer window, with the Brazilian in impressive form for the Whites since his arrival, scoring four times and contributing four assists in 17 Premier League appearances this term.

According to The Express, Liverpool have identified five players that they could potentially use to drive down the asking price for the Leeds attacker.

The report claims that first-team players Origi or Shaqiri could be available in part-exchange, while Wilson and Ojo, who are currently both on loan at Cardiff City, has also been mentioned.

Grujic is also believed to be a potential option, with the midfielder currently on loan from Liverpool at Porto.

The reigning champions suffered their third straight league defeat on Saturday afternoon as they lost 3-1 to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
