Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Champions League action, including Inter Milan vs. Real Madrid.

Borussia M'bach vs. Shakhtar (Wednesday, 5.55pm)

Borussia Monchengladbach host Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Wednesday with the German side looking to put some breathing space between themselves and third place in Group B.

Gladbach won the previous meeting between the two sides only three weeks ago by the astonishing scoreline of 6-0, with Alassane Plea scoring a hat-trick.

We say: Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1 Shakhtar Donetsk

We expect a much closer battle between these two sides than the one which took place in Ukraine three weeks ago, with Shakhtar likely to be fired up to prove that was a freak result.

However, Gladbach should still have enough to get themselves the win, which would see them edge closer to the Champions League knockout stages for the first time in the club's history.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Olympiacos vs. Man City (Wednesday, 5.55pm)

Manchester City will be looking to put their latest Premier League title setback behind them when they resume their Champions League campaign with a trip to Olympiacos.

The Citizens lost 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend and are down in 13th in the Premier League, but they have won three from three in Europe to top Group C.

We say: Olympiacos 0-2 Manchester City

Man City are looking to win their opening four Champions League group games for the second time under Guardiola, three years on from last achieving that feat.

The visitors have won their last two games in the competition without conceding and, despite their disappointing domestic form, we can see them extending that run on Wednesday.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Bayern vs. Salzburg (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Bayern Munich entertain Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League on Wednesday, with a win guaranteeing the hosts safe passage through to the knockout stages of the competition for the 13th consecutive season.

The Bavarians won the recent meeting between the two sides 6-2 in Austria, with a flurry of late Bayern goals making the result a little more one-sided than the reality of the match.

We say: Bayern Munich 4-1 Red Bull Salzburg

With Salzburg potentially missing key attacking players and struggling to fight the right balance defensively, we can see Bayern running riot in order to secure qualification for the knockout stages.

While their midfield isn't fully functioning at present, Flick's side simply possess too much quality in and around both boxes for Salzburg to gain the result they may well require to realistically stay in the competition.

Our tipster partners are predicting that both teams will score (BTTS - yes).

Atletico vs. Lokomotiv (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Atletico Madrid play host to Lokomotiv Moscow on Wednesday evening knowing that victory could put them on the brink of qualification for the Champions League last 16.

However, Lokomotiv head into the fixture at Wanda Metropolitano aware that recording maximum points against the La Liga giants would move them into second place in Group A.

We say: Atletico Madrid 2-0 Lokomotiv Moscow

Although Lokomotiv earned a share of the spoils in Russia, it could be a different story in the reverse fixture. Atletico are much strong on familiar territory, and we expect Simeone's side to put in an efficient performance on Wednesday evening.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Inter Milan vs. Real Madrid (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Two behemoths of the European game will collide in Wednesday's Champions League fixture as Inter Milan welcome Real Madrid to San Siro in gameweek four.

However, both clubs have endured underwhelming starts in Group B and, rather incredibly, sit outside the top two at this midway point.

We say: Inter Milan 2-1 Real Madrid

With both of these European powerhouses finding themselves in unfamiliar positions in Group B, both managers should be setting their teams up to attack, which will make for a fascinating spectacle for fans and neutrals alike. Martinez and Lukaku will certainly fancy their chances against an injury-hit Real defence, and while Zidane may be boosted by the returns of Casemiro and Militao, we think the hosts will eke out a vital win.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Marseille vs. Porto (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Porto can take a giant stride towards the Champions League knockout stages when they travel to the Orange Velodrome to take on Marseille in Wednesday's showdown.

In contrast, the hosts are rock bottom of Group C and their European venture looks set to come to an end as soon as it began following a dismal start.

We say: Marseille 1-2 Porto

There are no two ways about it - Marseille simply have to win if they are to have any hope at all of keeping their knockout dreams alive. However, Villas-Boas's men are clearly up against it and have already been beaten convincingly by Porto once this term, and while we expect the hosts to finally hit the back of the net in Europe, Conceicao's side should take another step towards the next stage with a narrow victory at the Orange Velodrome.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Liverpool vs. Atalanta (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Liverpool welcome Atalanta BC to Anfield on Wednesday evening knowing that victory would seal their place in the last 16 of the Champions League with two games to spare.

Fresh from dishing out Atalanta's heaviest ever home European defeat on matchday three, Liverpool sit comfortably at the top of Group D, five points clear of their closest challengers.

We say: Liverpool 3-1 Atalanta BC

Liverpool are unlikely to have things as easy as they did in Bergamo, but their performance in that match, coupled with their record at Anfield, makes it impossible to back against them even with their injury troubles.

Atalanta certainly have the firepower to test Liverpool's defence more than they did in the reverse fixture, but Wednesday's hosts have actually looked more solid at the back since Van Dijk's injury and should have more than enough to seal their place in the knockout stages with victory here.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Ajax vs. Midtjylland (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Ajax face FC Midtjylland in the Champions League on Wednesday evening with the opportunity to strengthen their hold of second place in Group D.

Meanwhile, their opponents make the trip to the Netherlands looking to end a run of three successive defeats in this competition.

We say: Ajax 3-1 FC Midtjylland

Facing a four-point deficit, Midtjylland have little choice but to throw caution to the wind on Wednesday evening. However, that will only play into Ajax's favour, and the Dutch giants should have more than enough quality in the final third to record a comfortable win.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.
