Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has spoken on his frustration at the Foxes' 2-2 draw with Burnley in Premier League action on Saturday.

A Jamie Vardy own goal saw them fall behind at the King Power Stadium, but the English striker went on to be far more involved in the action, as he levelled the game on two occasions after Maxwell Cornet had restored the Clarets' lead.

Following the relief of Vardy's 85th-minute equaliser, the Foxes once again looked set to fall to a defeat as Chris Wood headed in a 95th-minute goal for the visitors, only to see it ruled out for offside after a VAR check.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Rodgers said: "It's a little frustrating in terms of the result. We were much better going forward. Burnley defended their box so well. I'm more worried about how we defended."

Such a result saw the Foxes' winless run in the English top flight stretched to three games, and they now occupy 12th spot with seven points from the opening six matches.

They return to action on Thursday with a trip to Legia Warsaw in the second round of Europa League group fixtures before travelling to take on Crystal Palace in their next Premier League outing next Sunday. body check tags ::
