Juventus Women will host Wolfsburg Women on Tuesday in the Women's Champions League, and the hosts will be looking for their third consecutive win in all competitions.

The visitors head into matchday three unbeaten in the group stage so far, having collected four points from the first two games.

Match preview

Juventus will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Champions League after losing 2-1 at home to Chelsea on matchday two.

Barbara Bonansea pulled Juventus level after Erin Cuthbert had given the reigning English champions the lead, but Pernille Harder struck in the second half to snatch all three points for Chelsea.

Joe Montemurro's side have not let that defeat affect their league form, as they followed the Chelsea loss with two away victories over Inter Milan and Sampdoria.

The Italian champions had to be patient against Sampdoria, and in the 75th minute their domination paid off, when Valentina Cernoia's left-footed effort nestled in the bottom corner to clinch a 1-0 victory.

The hosts will be looking to avoid consecutive home defeats, but they will head into the encounter in a confident mood, having won 13 of their 14 competitive games this season.

Wolfsburg will also be looking for their third consecutive victory in all competitions, when they travel to Turin on Tuesday.

The two-time Champions League winners have fared well in their opening two group games, drawing 3-3 away to Chelsea before thrashing Servette 5-0 in matchday two.

They head into the encounter in high spirits after pulling off a dramatic comeback win in the Frauen-Bundesliga against Eintracht Frankfurt.

After going 2-0 down inside 20 minutes, Wolfsburg roared back with goals from Dominique Janssen and Jill Roord, and with the game heading towards a draw, Janssen netted once again to snatch all three points in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

The only slight concern for Tommy Stroot is that they have won just once in their last four away games, but after scoring eight goals in their two group matches, Wolfsburg will be confident of causing Juventus problems.

Team News

Montemurro is expected to make changes to his Juventus team after resting a number of players for the league game with Sampdoria.

Matilde Lundorf, Cecilia Salvai, Lisa Boattin are all likely to come into the backline, while Martina Rosucci and Sofie Junge-Pedersen will both start in midfield.

After scoring in her last two club appearances, Bonansea will feature in the Juventus front three as she looks to continue her fine goalscoring form.

Wolfsburg could be without Turid Knaak, who missed the weekend's game with a knee injury, and she is a doubt for Tuesday's contest.

Following their impressive comeback win on Saturday, Stroot could name an unchanged lineup to the one that started the Eintracht Frankfurt encounter.

Tabea Wassmuth scored a brace in both group games, and the German international will be key if Wolfsburg are to get a positive result on Tuesday.

Juventus Women possible starting lineup:
Peyraud-Magnin; Lundorf, Gama, Salvai, Boattin; Rosucci, Junge-Pedersen, Cernoia; Bonansea, Hurtig, Girelli

Wolfsburg Women possible starting lineup:
Schult; Hendrich, Janssen, Rauch, Wedemeyer; Oberdorf, Lattwein, Roord; Wassmuth, Huth, Bremer

We say: Juventus Women 2-2 Wolfsburg Women

Juventus are usually a formidable force on home turf, and though Wolfsburg possess a number of match winners in their side, we think that they will have to settle for a point when they travel to the champions of Italy.
