Marc-Andre ter Stegen unhappy with World Cup ball

Germany goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen becomes the latest player to criticise the ball which will be used at the World Cup in Russia this summer.

Germany goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has become the latest player to criticise the ball which will be used at the World Cup in Russia this summer.

Spanish duo David de Gea and Pepe Reina have spoken out against the Adidas Telstar 18, with the latter claiming that it is "impossible to work out".

Ter Stegen joined his fellow goalkeepers in complaining about the ball, but acknowledged that they have little choice but to look to adapt to it as best they can.

"The ball could be better; it moves a lot. But I think we're just going to have to get used to working with it and try to get to grips with it as quickly as possible before the World Cup starts. We've got no other option," Ter Stegen told reporters.

Germany have been drawn in Group F of the World Cup alongside Mexico, Sweden and South Korea.
