West Ham United to rival Chelsea for Jean Michael Seri?

West Ham United reportedly join Chelsea in the race for Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri's services.

West Ham United are allegedly considering challenging Chelsea for the signature of Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri.

The Hammers have earmarked the Frenchman as a potential summer transfer target but are yet to table a bid, reports Sky Sports News.

West Ham are said to have identified Alfie Mawson and Felipe Anderson as their top summer targets but may move for Seri if they fail to land the latter from Lazio.

The Ivory Coast international, who has also been linked with Manchester City and Arsenal, would reportedly be available for around £36m.

Seri has made more than 100 appearances for Nice since signing for the club in 2015.
