Inter Milan looking for reunion with Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic?

By , Reporter | 4d
Inter Milan reportedly hold an interest in signing Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic, who is currently spending the season on loan at Chelsea.

Inter Milan have reportedly identified Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic as a potential summer singing.

Kovacic - who is currently spending the season on loan at Chelsea - left San Siro to move to Real in 2015, but the Croatia international has struggled to hold down a regular starting role at the Bernabeu.

The 24-year-old is likely to be made available in the summer, and according to Tuttosport, Inter could look to secure a reunion with the player at the end of his period at Chelsea.

Kovacic has made 18 starts for the Blues in all competitions, but the Premier League outfit do not have the option to sign the former Inter man on a permanent basis.

That could let in the Italian outfit, who currently sit in third place in the standings and will be looking to strengthen their squad during the upcoming transfer windows.
