United States international Christian Pulisic is reportedly one of several players who are expected to be offloaded by Chelsea this summer.

The Blues have spent over £600m in the last two transfer windows since Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital completed their takeover of the club last May.

In January alone, Chelsea made eight signings and in the process, they broke the British transfer record to sign Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for €121m (£107m).

With Chelsea now in possession of a large squad, they are said to be keen to offload a number of players at the earliest opportunity.

According to ESPN, Pulisic is one of the names who the Blues would be prepared to let go, with his contract set to expire in June 2024.

There is no indication that a new deal will be agreed and after starting only six of his 17 Premier League appearances this season, Pulisic does not appear to be a key part of Graham Potter's plans.

The 24-year-old was linked with a move away in January, but his current knee injury made a departure impossible.

However, the Blues are willing to allow him to leave in the summer, accepting the idea that they will make a significant loss on the €64m (£57m) they paid to sign him from Borussia Dortmund in 2019.

Hakim Ziyech, meanwhile, was unable to complete his loan move to Paris Saint-Germain on the final day of the January window due to paperwork issues, but he could still leave Chelsea in the summer.

The Morocco international could be followed through the exit door by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has recently been linked with a move to MLS franchise Los Angeles FC.

Even if a move to the MLS does not materialise, the 33-year-old is expected to depart in the summer after being left of Chelsea's Champions League squad.

The Blues could listen to offers for Mateo Kovacic and Kalidou Koulibaly, despite the fact the latter only signed from Napoli last summer.

Callum Hudson-Odoi and Romelu Lukaku, who are on loan at Bayer Leverkusen and Inter Milan respectively, do not appear to be part of Chelsea's future plans.

There is also uncertainty surrounding the future of N'Golo Kante, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Like Kante, Mason Mount is yet to sign a new deal, although the England international still has a contract until June 2024. body check tags ::
