Chelsea to rival Liverpool for Ugurcan Cakir?

:Headline: Chelsea to rival Liverpool for Ugurcan Cakir?:
Chelsea are reportedly ready to rival Liverpool in the race to sign highly-regarded Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.

Chelsea have reportedly identified Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir as a potential summer signing.

With Kepa Arrizabalaga and Willy Caballero both failing to impress on a consistent basis this season, Blues boss Frank Lampard is considering his options ahead of next season.

As it stands, it appears likely that at least one of the stoppers will be allowed to depart Stamford Bridge in order to make room for a new arrival.

According to Fotospor, Chelsea may make an approach for Cakir, who has been strongly linked with Liverpool in recent months.

The 23-year-old has continued to impress for Trabzonspor this season, making 22 starts as the club compete for the league title.

While Cakir has a contract until the end of the 2023-24 campaign, Trabzonspor are likely to consider selling one of their most prized assets for the right price.
