Chelsea reportedly draw up a three-man shortlist to replace long-serving right-back Cesar Azpilicueta, who looks set to join Barcelona at the end of this season.

Chelsea have reportedly drawn up a three-man shortlist to replace Barcelona-bound full-back Cesar Azpilicueta in the summer.

Azpilicueta looks set to join the Catalan giants at the end of this season when his contract at Stamford Bridge expires, with Barcelona believed to have a principle agreement with the 32-year-old.

The Spanish international has been a long-serving right-back for the Blues, having arrived in 2012 and gone on to provide 56 assists in 450 appearances for Chelsea, meaning that he is sure to leave a big void in Thomas Tuchel's squad.

According to the Express, the reigning European champions will target Sevilla's Jules Kounde, Fenerbahce's Attila Szalai and Wolfsburg's Maxence Lacroix as possible replacements for Azpilicueta.

Real Madrid and Manchester United have also been linked with a move for Kounde but it was reported last week that the Blues already have an agreement in place to sign the 23-year-old.

Any of the three candidates to arrive in West London would have to compete with Reece James for a place in the side, with the England international scoring four goals and providing five assists in 16 Premier League appearances this season. body check tags ::
