Chelsea 'do not view Eden Hazard as a priority target'

Chelsea are unlikely to make an attempt to re-sign Eden Hazard from Real Madrid this summer, according to a report.

Chelsea are reportedly unlikely to make an attempt to re-sign Eden Hazard from Real Madrid during this summer's transfer window.

The Belgium international has struggled to make his mark for Los Blancos since arriving from Chelsea in 2019, managing just five goals in 43 appearances in all competitions.

Hazard struck just four times in 21 outings during the 2020-21 season, meanwhile, and there have been rumours that the 30-year-old is keen on a return to Stamford Bridge.

However, according to the Sunday World, the Belgian is not viewed as a priority target for the Blues, who want to sign a new centre-forward in the upcoming market.

Hazard still has more than three years left to run on his contract at the Bernabeu, while his substantial wages will make it difficult for the La Liga giants to move him on this summer.

The former Lille youngster has struggled with a number of injury problems during his time in Madrid. body check tags ::
