Chelsea consider West Ham United's Declan Rice as N'Golo Kante replacement?

:Headline: Chelsea consider West Ham United's Declan Rice as N'Golo Kante replacement?:
Chelsea are reportedly contemplating whether to replace N'Golo Kante with West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.

Chelsea may reportedly be prepared to make a big-money approach for West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice during the next transfer window.

Despite the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic, Chelsea could be in a position to continue with their plans in the market given their recent lack of activity.

However, according to The Mirror, it may take the sale of N'Golo Kante to tempt Chelsea into following up their interest in Rice.

Kante, who has been hindered by multiple injuries this season, has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, providing that Los Blancos can make a number of player sales.

The report suggests that Chelsea officials regard England international Rice as a direct replacement for the World Cup winner.

Although the Hammers are keen to retain the services of their most prized asset, an offer in the region of £70m may lead to them agreeing to a sale.
