Saturday's Premier League predictions including Chelsea vs. Norwich City

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Premier League fixtures, including Chelsea vs. Norwich City.

Chelsea vs. Norwich (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Top meets bottom in Saturday's Premier League battle at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea and Norwich City prepare to lock horns in the English capital.

The Blues marched to a 1-0 win over Brentford in gameweek eight, while Norwich claimed their second point of the season against Brighton & Hove Albion.

We say: Chelsea 2-0 Norwich City

Even without Lukaku and Werner leading the charge, Chelsea have attacking quality in abundance on the bench to help them break the Canaries' resistance.

Farke can certainly take the positives from his side's last two performances, but attacking woes continue to bedevil them, and they are unlikely to travel back from the capital with anything to show for it.

Our tipster partners are predicting that at least one team will not score (BTTS - no).

Crystal Palace vs. Newcastle (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Newcastle United will endeavour to begin the post-Steve Bruce era in perfect fashion when they travel to Crystal Palace for Saturday's Premier League clash.

The Magpies' first clash under new ownership ended in a 3-2 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, while Patrick Vieira's Eagles were forced to settle for a point against Arsenal.

We say: Crystal Palace 3-1 Newcastle United

With so much attacking quality on show at Selhurst Park, it is difficult to envisage a low-scoring affair this weekend, especially with both sides' defensive deficiencies also coming into play.

Newcastle will be hoping to see the new manager bounce phenomenon propel them to a positive result here, but Palace have developed a resilient nature at home and ought to hand Vieira a confidence-boosting win in the capital.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

Everton vs. Watford (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Watford will aim to avoid a second consecutive thrashing at the hands of a Merseyside outfit when they do battle with Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.

Claudio Ranieri's side went down 5-0 to Liverpool last weekend, while the Toffees suffered a dampening defeat of their own to West Ham United on home soil.

We say: Everton 2-0 Watford

Watford have never won a Premier League game at Goodison Park and that is unlikely to change here, with the Hornets not experiencing any sort of a new manager bounce with Ranieri last week.

Everton's confidence has also been rocked in recent weeks as they work around a depleted squad, but Benitez's side ought to keep pace with the top seven by claiming maximum points here.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Leeds vs. Wolves (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Wolverhampton Wanderers will be looking to back up their memorable comeback victory over Aston Villa last time out when they travel to face Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday.

The visitors trailed by two goals heading into the final 10 minutes last weekend but somehow recovered to take all three points, and they may just consider themselves favourites against a Leeds side showing worrying signs of second season syndrome.

We say: Leeds United 0-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

There is a feeling that Leeds will burst into life sooner or later, but the statistics suggest this weekend will not be the time for that time happen.

Wolves' away record, recent attacking stats and overall form are in stark contrast to Leeds' home form, defensive performances and results so far this season, so this - on paper at least - looks like being a good match-up for the visitors.

Expect the game to be decided in the second half too; Wolves have scored seven of their eight goals this season after half time, while Leeds have conceded more second-half goals than any other team in 2021-22.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Southampton vs. Burnley (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Two teams with just one win between them go head to head at St Mary's on Saturday as Southampton entertain Burnley.

The hosts picked up their first victory of the campaign at the expense of Leeds United last weekend, whereas Burnley only have three draws to show from their opening eight games.

We say: Southampton 1-0 Burnley

These two sides played out an entertaining 3-2 in this fixture back in April, but we cannot see a repeat of that goalfest here given how difficult both sides have found it to score so far this season.

However, what we do see a repeat of is Southampton's victory in this fixture. The Saints won home and away against the Clarets last season and, with that win over Leeds now under their belts, we are backing them to edge to another three points this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Brighton vs. Man City (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Third meets fourth in the Premier League at the Amex Stadium on Saturday, as Brighton & Hove Albion play host to Manchester City on the South Coast.

The Seagulls were held to a goalless stalemate by basement side Norwich City last time out, while the champions eased to a comprehensive 2-0 success over Burnley.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 0-2 Manchester City

Amassing just one goal in three games before the visit of the champions does not exactly spell success for this Brighton side, but their strong start to the campaign means that they still command plenty of respect.

City fans cannot travel South expecting a second five-goal drubbing of the week, but Guardiola's side should still get the job done with a professional performance on Saturday.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
