How Chelsea could line up against Tottenham Hotspur

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Chelsea could line up for Sunday's Premier League London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea manager Graham Potter will receive a quadruple injury boost for Sunday's Premier League London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Blues' winless streak stretched to five games with a 1-0 loss at Southampton last time out, where Cesar Azpilicueta suffered a nasty head injury and had to be hospitalised.

The Spaniard has since been discharged from hospital but will miss out here owing to concussion protocol, joining Armando Broja, Christian Pulisic and Edouard Mendy on the Blues' absentee list.

N'Golo Kante is now back in team training as he steps up his recovery from thigh surgery, but the Frenchman is still a week or two away from being considered for selection.

Enzo Fernandez and Mateo Kovacic should therefore feel confident of holding their spots in midfield, but changes should be in the offing at the back, where the fit-again pair of Thiago Silva and Reece James are both primed to return.

James will be a straight swap for Azpilicueta, while Silva could eject Kalidou Koulibaly, who only lasted until half time against Southampton. Kepa Arrizabalaga, Benoit Badiashile and Ben Chilwell all ought to continue in their roles.

Potter was advised by medical staff not to use Raheem Sterling or Mykhaylo Mudryk from the first whistle last time out, but the pair are expected to be in contention for starts over Noni Madueke and Mason Mount here.

Joao Felix can expect to continue in between the two wide men, while David Datro Fofana's brief time up top should come to an end as Kai Havertz leads the charge.

Chelsea possible starting lineup: Kepa; James, Silva, Badiashile, Chilwell; Kovacic, Fernandez; Mudryk, Felix, Sterling; Havertz
