Roman Abramovich has reportedly made two demands of potential buyers ahead of his sale of Chelsea.

The Russian, who has put the club up for sale in the midst of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, has claimed he has the Blues' best interests at heart and is keen to ensure the new owners have the same intentions.

According to The Mirror, he has set the conditions that the buyer must continue to fund the playing squad, as well as the redevelopment of their Stamford Bridge home.

Abramovich officially announced his plans last week, and he is said to be looking for a fee in the region of £3bn, with a list of around 10 parties reportedly interested.

The oligarch bought the club in 2003, and he has seen Chelsea win five Premier League titles, a Europa League trophy and their first two Champions Leagues under his ownership.

Their last piece of silverware under the Russian has been the Club World Cup, which the Blues lifted for the first time in February after a victory over Brazilian giants Palmeiras in the final. body check tags ::
