Tiemoue Bakayoko in contention for Stoke City trip despite minor car crash

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte says that Danny Drinkwater is the only big-name absentee for his side's Premier League meeting with Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.

Antonio Conte has revealed that he has close to a full selection of players to choose from for Chelsea's trip to face Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium.

The Blues are aiming to get back to winning ways in the Potteries on Saturday afternoon after being held to a goalless draw by Arsenal in their most recent Premier League outing.

Conte has confirmed that Danny Drinkwater still remains absent due to a calf strain, but fellow central midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko could feature despite being involved in a minor car accident on Thursday afternoon.

"All my players are available for tomorrow, apart from Drinkwater, he's continuing to recover," he told reporters. "Bakayoko is fit – it was an accident yesterday but he's fit and available for the Stoke game."

Another of those in line to start this weekend is Eden Hazard, who stepped up his recovery from a mid-term injury layoff by getting 90 minutes under his belt in the midweek EFL Cup win over Nottingham Forest.

"I'm pleased for Eden because in the last game he played very well," Conte added. "I think he played with a good intensity, now he has overcome his injury. We have to play three games in seven days and it is the possibility to try and pick him for these games."

Following Saturday's trip to Stoke, Chelsea then face Atletico Madrid and Manchester City prior to the two-week international break.
