Antonio Conte "committed" to Chelsea ahead of FA Cup final

Antonio Conte admits that he "does not know" whether Saturday's FA Cup final will be his last match in charge, but reiterates that he is "committed" to Chelsea.

Antonio Conte has reiterated that he is "committed" to Chelsea, despite growing rumours that the FA Cup final against Manchester United will be his last match in charge.

The Blues are said to have already lined up some possible managerial replacements on the back of a campaign that will end trophiless if they suffer defeat to United on Saturday.

Chelsea have underperformed in 2017-18, finishing fifth in the Premier League to miss out on a place in next term's Champions League.

Conte has not be offered any assurances that he will still be in charge come the start of next season but, regardless of his uncertain future, he is determined to win some more silverware this weekend.

"I can say for sure this will be my last match... for this season! For me and my players it will be the last game, for us," he told reporters on the eve of the game. "Then, as you know very well, I have a contract and I'm committed to the club.

"Will it be my last match? I don't know. For sure I think we must be focused on tomorrow's game. For us this game is very important because we have, in a difficult season, to finish the season with a trophy.

"It's always important for the players, for the coach, for the manager, for our fans, for the club, to finish the season with a trophy. We're focused on this target. We have to try to do everything to win the game tomorrow."

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is the latest high-profile name to be linked with the Chelsea job.
