Bournemouth will attempt to achieve a feat that they have never previously managed in the Premier League when they welcome West Ham United to the Vitality Stadium on Sunday.

Bournemouth will be in a buoyant mood after Dango Ouattara's stoppage-time winner guided the Cherries to a 3-2 away victory over Champions League chasing Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

The win edged Bournemouth closer to their goal of remaining in the top flight with five points separating them from the bottom three.

The Cherries will now turn their attention to Sunday's Premier League meeting against a West Ham side that are sitting one place below the South-coast club.

Gary O'Neil's side will be hoping to continue their fine form, having won three of their four matches in April.

The Cherries now have the chance to claim four Premier League victories in a single month for the very first time.

After beating Leicester City and Spurs in their last two outings, Bournemouth will also be looking to record three consecutive top-flight wins in a single season for the first time since March 2016.

If the hosts are to claim all three points on Sunday, then home advantage could play a crucial role.

Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last four Premier League home games against West Ham, which have produced two wins and two draws.

They will go into Sunday's contest without the services of Hamed Traore, Ryan Fredericks and Junior Stanislas, while Matias Vina is a doubt after being forced off with a back issue against Tottenham. body check tags ::
