Juventus 'interested in appointing departing Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick'

A report claims that Hansi Flick, who is set to leave Bayern Munich in the summer, is a managerial target for Juventus.

Juventus will reportedly consider moving for Hansi Flick when the Bayern Munich boss leaves his position at the end of the season.

Flick announced last weekend that he has asked Bayern to terminate his contract, which still has two years to run, in the summer.

The Bavarian giants criticised the 56-year-old for the timing of his comments, but they are still expected to grant him his wish.

Former Germany assistant Flick has been strongly tipped to succeed Joachim Low as Die Mannschaft head coach after this year's rescheduled Euro 2020 tournament.

However, Bild claims that Flick will not be short of offers at club level, with Juventus among those waiting to pounce.

Juve are believed to be eyeing up possible contenders to replace Andrea Pirlo, who has struggled in his first managerial campaign at the Allianz Stadium.

The same report suggests that teams in the Premier League are also monitoring the German's situation at Bayern. body check tags ::
