Two of the surprise packages of the Bundesliga season so far go head to head at the RheinEnergieStadion on Saturday, with FC Koln hosting Freiburg.
The hosts remain in the unexpected hunt for the European places in contrast to their usual struggles for survival, whilst the visitors remain in the mix for the Champions League spots despite their usual expectations of a mid-table finish.

These two sides head into their clash with very similar styles and similar success so far this campaign, with both being so well organised and difficult to beat.
As a result, we are predicting for these sides to finish as they did in September, with a 1-1 draw to share the points in an evenly-matched encounter.

Stuttgart vs. Frankfurt (Saturday, 2.30pm)
Stuttgart and Eintracht Frankfurt return from the international break in Germany hoping to end their winless streaks when they meet at the Mercedes Benz Arena on Saturday.
The hosts' poor run of form leaves them in the relegation places heading into the weekend, whilst the visitors have dropped out of the European places following struggles of their own.
We say: Stuttgart 1-2 Eintracht Frankfurt
This game is a difficult one to call considering the two-week break from Bundesliga action for both sides, as well as the recent struggles of both prior to the break.
However, Frankfurt will see this as an ideal opportunity to get back on track in their quest to earn a European place, and we are predicting a narrow win for them against a struggling Stuttgart side.

Augsburg vs. Union Berlin (Saturday, 2.30pm)
Two sides at opposite ends of the Bundesliga table meet on Saturday afternoon as Union Berlin travel south geographically but north in the rankings to face Augsburg at the WWK Arena.
The visitors are sat in fourth, just inside the Champions League places, whilst their hosts are struggling down in the relegation playoff spot.

The loss of Kruse is certainly a blow to Union, but they should retain a strong self-belief after their upward trajectory in recent seasons. Therefore, we are backing them to earn a win against a home side struggling for results in 2022, albeit by a narrow margin.

Borussia Monchengladbach will be hoping to finally kickstart their Bundesliga campaign when they head to Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday.
The visitors have endured a disastrous season so far and find themselves in the midst of an unexpected relegation battle, whilst the hosts are just one point behind following their excellent recent form.

The hosts will be hoping to extend their advantage at the top of the table, whilst the visitors will be looking to continue the fine form achieved under their new boss prior to the international break.

Despite the calibre of their opponent, and the form that they find themselves in under their new boss, we are expecting Bayern to triumph comfortably on Saturday.
Bayern seem to rise to the occasion of big fixtures like this one and put in scintillating performances, and they will be eager to capitalise on the opportunity to put the pressure on Dortmund by extending their gap to nine points at the top of the table.
