Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes has "a good feeling" about semi-final

Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes has "a good feeling" about his team's chances of beating Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes has said that he has "a good feeling" about his team's chances of beating Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Bayern forward Robert Lewandowski has claimed that Madrid are the "favourites" for the last-four tie, although such suggestions have been played down by Los Blancos head coach Zinedine Zidane.

Heynckes led Bayern to the Champions League title in 2013 during his second spell as manager of the Bundesliga club, and the 72-year-old is confident that the German champions will reach the final of this year's competition.

"Both of our teams will provide us with attractive football. There are big players and it will be an open game. For me there is no favourite but I have a good feeling," Heynckes told reporters.

"We have had success in the Bundesliga, reached the final of the cup and we want to cap that with the final of the Champions League."

Bayern have only suffered one loss in 2018 - a 2-1 defeat at RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga on March 18.
