Much to the surprise of many, the Catalan giants announced a contract extension for the out-of-favour Frenchman earlier this week.

However, the change in terms was to facilitate the registration of new signing Ferran Torres, and it has seemingly not led to a change in stance over Umtiti's status at Barcelona.

According to RMC Sport, the World Cup winner wants to secure regular first-team football at another club during the second half of the campaign.

The report suggests that teams in the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga are all prepared to negotiate terms with Barcelona over the coming weeks.
