Angel Di Maria is reportedly waiting for an offer from Catalan giants Barcelona.

The Argentinian is on the lookout for a new club following the expiration of his Paris Saint-Germain contract.

Juventus have shown the most interest in the 34-year-old, but according to Mundo Deportivo, Di Maria is waiting for an approach from Barcelona.

Xavi is looking to add a winger to his squad, with Ousmane Dembele set to depart when his contract expires at the end of June.

Leeds United's Raphinha is currently the favourite to replace Dembele, with Barcelona sporting director Mateu Alemany set to fly to England to hold talks with the Premier League club this week.

However, an asking price in the region of £55m could prove to be a stumbling block for the La Liga side, who are experiencing financial issues.

Di Maria is aware that the economic uncertainty at Camp Nou could work in his favour, which is why he is remaining patient before committing to a club for the 2022-23 season.
