How Barcelona could line up against Osasuna

Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up in Sunday's La Liga clash with Osasuna.

Barcelona boss Xavi will ring the changes on Sunday, as the Catalan side resume their La Liga campaign at home to Osasuna.

Xavi shuffled his pack against Galatasaray in the Europa League on Thursday evening, with Eric Garcia, Nico Gonzalez, Memphis Depay and Adama Traore among those handed starting roles at Camp Nou.

Barcelona did not suffer any fresh injuries in the goalless draw, but Nico will miss this contest through suspension following his booking against Elche in the league last weekend.

Meanwhile, Alejandro Balde, Ansu Fati, Samuel Umtiti and Sergi Roberto will again be unavailable for selection due to injury problems.

Sergio Busquets, Dani Alves, Ousmane Dembele, Gerard Pique and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are all expected to be back in the starting side against Osasuna.

Alves, who is not in Barcelona's Europa League squad, could come back in at right-back, while Pique is expected to replace Garcia in the middle of the back four.

There is plenty of competition for starting roles in midfield and attack, so Gavi could find himself on the bench, with Ferran Torres likely to feature alongside Aubameyang and Dembele in the final third, while Pedri, Frenkie de Jong and Busquets are expected to start in midfield.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Alves, Araujo, Pique, Alba; Pedri, Busquets, F de Jong; Dembele, Aubameyang, Torres body check tags ::
