Barcelona are reportedly not considering an approach for former Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo.

Despite going four matches unbeaten in La Liga, Barca boss Ronald Koeman is under pressure at Camp Nou due to a reluctance to follow the club's traditional playing style.

While the Dutchman would be entitled to a lucrative pay-off should he be sacked, the Catalan giants are said to be contemplating potential replacements.

However, according to Calciomercato journalist Matteo Moretto, Barcelona will not be appointing Pirlo as their next boss.

Regardless of his indifferent period with Juventus, the Italian could have been regarded as an attractive option given his status as a free agent.
