Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to increase their offer for Roma forward Cengiz Under after seeing an opening bid rejected by the Serie A outfit.
Spurs are understood to have had their initial £31m approach for the 21-year-old turned down immediately, with Roma considering that offer unacceptable.
However, Corriere dello Sport reports that the North London outfit are now ready to return with an improved bid of £46m in an attempt to prise the youngster away from the Stadio Olimpico.
Spurs are hopeful that their second bid will be enough for them to move ahead of their London rivals in the race for his signature, although 20% of the transfer fee will go straight to Under's former club Istanbul Basaksehir due to a clause in his contract.
