Arsenal are reportedly keen to sign RB Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku next year.

The 23-year-old has been in impressive form for his German club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring nine times and registering five assists in 13 appearances in all competitions.

Nkunku still has three years left to run on his current deal, but there has recently been speculation surrounding his future, with a number of clubs said to be keeping a close eye on his development.

According to Calciomercato, Arsenal are planning a move for the Frenchman during next summer's transfer window, with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta a keen admirer of his talents.

Nkunku has shown his versatility by operating as a left-sided midfielder, a right-sided midfielder and a second striker for Leipzig during the 2021-22 season.

The former France Under-21s international has scored 21 goals and registered 32 assists in 97 appearances for his current club since making the move from Paris Saint-Germain in July 2019. body check tags ::
