Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal and Manchester City.

Zakaria returned from a serious knee injury to make 32 appearances for Monchengladbach in all competitions during the last campaign.

However, with just 12 months remaining on his contract, the German outfit are seemingly under pressure to find a buyer for one of their most prized assets.

According to Tag 24, Arsenal and Man City are both monitoring the situation, aware that the Switzerland international will receive widespread interest in his signature.

The 24-year-old would allegedly prefer to take on a new challenge at this stage of his career rather than extend his four-year stay in Germany.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have also been named as potential destinations. body check tags ::
