Arsenal 'boosted in David Alaba pursuit'

Bayern Munich are prepared to sell David Alaba amid suggestions of interest from Arsenal, according to a report.

Bayern Munich are reportedly prepared to sell David Alaba in this summer's transfer window amid suggestions that Arsenal want to sign the Austria international.

Alaba, who has also been linked with Real Madrid, has scored twice and contributed two assists in 24 Bundesliga appearances during the 2018-19 campaign.

Bayern have already secured the signature of full-back Lucas Hernandez from Atletico Madrid ahead of next season, however, and The Independent has claimed that Alaba could be moved on this summer.

Earlier this month, the 26-year-old suggested that he would be open to a move to Arsenal.

Since breaking into the first team in 2010, Alaba has made 335 appearances in all competitions for Bayern, winning seven Bundesliga titles, three DFB-Pokal crowns and one Champions League.
