The agent of Inter Milan goalkeeper Ionut Radu has claimed that Arsenal are interested in signing his client in this summer's transfer window.

The Gunners will be in the market for a new number two this summer with Petr Cech retiring from football.

According to Radu's agent, the Premier League club are considering a swoop for the 22-year-old, who spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan with Genoa.

"There are so many teams interested, including Lyon. Recently, there was also a survey from Arsenal. He is a very interesting prospect since he is growing a lot, from all points of view," Crescenzo Cecere told FCInterNews.

Radu has only turned out once for Inter but appeared on 33 occasions for Genoa in the top flight of Italian football during the recent season.

Arsenal are only believed to have around £40m to spend on new signings this summer following their failure to win the Europa League.
