Barcelona are keen to offload Ousmane Dembele before the deadline, and if they manage that then they could also bring in out-of-favour Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal.

The future of Donny van de Beek could also be decided, while free-spending Newcastle United are on the lookout for further reinforcements.

Over in Spain, Barcelona and Real Madrid continue to be linked with high-profile players despite their financial concerns, but one player who doesn't look like he will be heading to Camp Nou today is Nicolas Tagliafico.

Last night it looked likely that Ousmane Dembele would end up at PSG, but Manchester United have now reportedly made a late swoop to hijack the deal having been forced to suspend Mason Greenwood yesterday.

You can find the full story on that by clicking here.

CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN JOINS BRENTFORD!

Christian Eriksen has given his first words to Brentford fans after joining: "I'm happy to announce I've signed for Brentford football club. I can't wait to get started. Hopefully I will see you all very soon."

CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN JOINS BRENTFORD!

You can read the full story by clicking here.

CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN JOINS BRENTFORD!

It is indeed Christian Eriksen! What a story for the former Spurs midfielder, who is back in the Premier League after those horrific scenes at the Euros last summer. It's great to see him back, and what a coup for Brentford too - their biggest ever signing?

BREAKING NEWS!

...and nice and early, we have our first piece of breaking news for the day as Brentford tease their new signing. A Premier League return for Christian Eriksen, surely?!

Away from the transfer side of things, we are also expecting Frank Lampard to be confirmed as Everton boss on a two-and-a-half-year deal. The agreement has already been reached, so it is just the official confirmation we are now waiting for from the Toffees.

Shortly after that, we are expecting Everton to announce the signing of Donny van de Beek on loan from Manchester United.

What can we expect from today, then?

Well, it should mainly be loose ends being tied up around Europe. Ousmane Dembele's Barcelona exit - most likely now to PSG - is set to be the biggest deal to go through today, but even that will be for a cut-price fee if it happens.

Spurs are set to be one of the busier teams with deals close for Juventus duo Kulusevski and Bentancur, while they may look for another late transfer having missed out on the likes of Diaz and Traore already.

Good morning!

It is that time of the year again: January transfer deadline day!

Some of the most notorious deals in English football history have done through on this day - think Fernando Torres and Andy Carroll in 2011 - and today promises to be a fascinating one too with plenty of high-profile players still facing uncertain futures.

Will Dembele finally leave Barcelona? Will Arsenal ship out Aubameyang? Can the likes of Van de Beek, Henderson and Lingard find an exit from Manchester United?

Stick with us to find out the answers to all of those questions and more!
