MTV's Video Music Awards 2021 are underway, with Doja Cat hosting from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Some of the biggest names in music will be performing tonight, including Shawn Mendes, Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran, Lil Nas X and Twenty One Pilots, while Conor McGregor, Megan Fox and Cyndi Lauper are among the presenters.

As for the awards, Justin Bieber leads the way with nine nominees, while Megan Thee Stallion and BTS are up for seven apiece.
