I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestants will reportedly be required to quarantine for a fortnight before the show begins next month.

Contestants on the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! will reportedly be required to undergo a two-week quarantine before the show begins.

Once again coronavirus restrictions mean that the show will be staged at Gwrych Castle in North Wales, with travel to Australia currently impractical due to the country's closed borders.

According to The Sun, producers have decided to introduce the pre-show bubble to prevent a coronavirus outbreak among contestants and avoid any potential row over unvaccinated stars.

"All of the celebrities will have to quarantine alone for a fortnight," a source told the newspaper.

"Once this ends they will enter the camp, which is basically then their bubble for the whole series.

"Testing will be done regularly in camp and on the set to ensure all the cast and crew are safe.

"ITV thinks this is the best case scenario and will stop any headaches surrounding COVID, which has been a nightmare for the BBC with Strictly."

Rumoured celebrities in this year's lineup include EastEnders legend Adam Woodyatt, choreographer Dame Arlene Phillips and presenter Richard Madeley.
